Club History

TeamBath A.C. was formed in 1974 based on Percy Boys Club in the centre of Bath. We outgrew the Boys Club and in 1992 moved to Beechen Cliff School and changed our name to City of Bath A.C. Recognising the need to be close to the athletics track and better facilities we moved to the Sports Village at Bath University on Tuesday 6th April 1999.

On 1st April 2007 the Club formed a partnership with TeamBath (Bath University) and changed our name to TeamBath A.C

TeamBath A.C. is affiliated to the Avon Country Athletics Association, the Midlands Counties Athletic Association and Athletics UK. We cater for all aspects of athletics including track, field, cross country, fun running and road running and welcome new memebers regardless of age, ability or experience.

Competition

Track and Field competition in the Avon League and South West Leagues for all age groups and McDonalds youth leagues. We also compete in county, area and national championships both indoor and outdoors and encourage our members to compete in open track and field meetings.

Cross Country competition in the Avalon (Sundays) and Gloucester (Saturdays) Cross Country Leagues plus county, area and national competitions.

Road Running competition in the county area and national competitions in particular. The Midland and National Six and Twelve Stage Relays. We also compete in many road races including, for many years, in the Welsh Castles Road Relays which is a 20 stage relay from Carnaerfon to Cardiff over two days in June.
